Nadia Plesner, a 26 year old artists, developed a campaign called “Simple Living” to raise money for victims of genocide in Darfur. Within this campaign she created a t-shirt with an image that depicts a Darfur genocide victim holding LV-inspired designer bag and a “Paris Hilton” inspired looking, Chihuahua. 100% of the profits of the t-shirt are going help the victims. Although the hand -bag is not specifically a Louis Vuitton bag, LV doesn’t care, to them it’s close enough. And is filling a lawsuit, claiming intellectual property. I don’t know who will win but I can tell you where to purchase Nadia’s shirts and posters and where to get update on her story.

A “Cougar” is the sexy older woman who seduces younger men. Here’s to you Mrs. Robinson and Samantha from “Sex and the City” The Cougars are increasing in numbers these days. When I was younger I was totally against the idea of dating a younger man, but now in my mid twenties I am beginning to reconsider. It is becoming a more positive situation, viewing women usually their in 30s and 40s as financially stable, mentally independent and looking for a younger man to have fun with. Being a Cougar doesn’t sound so bad. Watch out, now! For someday, I too, may be on the PROWL!!

Take a look at these celebrity Cougars! GGGGGGGRRRRRRR!

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

Kim Cattrall, 51 years old & Alan Wyse, 28 years old.

Eva Longoria, 33 & Tony Parker, 25

Ivana Trump, 59 & Rossano Rubicondi, 35

Thanks gettyimages and Us weekly for pics!

Do you wear sunglasses after dark? I hope not because it really ticks me off!! Another thing that hrows me over the edge is when people wear sunglasses indoors. Especially if you are a celebrity; people pay to see you so don’t make an indoor appearance under sunglasses!! That is rude and inconsiderate! Check out Katie and Tom whom were recently caught wearing shades in the dark.

Wierdos!!!

Mommy looks different.

April 26, 2008

“My Beautiful Mommy” written by plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer.

Over the past ten years the number of cosmetic plastic surgery procedures have sky rocketed. And I always wondered what parents told their children when going through these procedures. I would think that it must be scary for a child to see mommy going into the hospital. Another thing I wonder is how the kids must feel when they grow up looking nothing like their parents. Especially if both have gotten work done.

Although I don’t necessarily think that plastic surgery is the way to go, I am one to never say never. Who knows I might get some work done in my later years. I actually think this is a great idea as far as niche markets go. Some of the books creep me out and I feel they would be better if written by child psychologist instead of mostly plastic surgeons.

Feminist Hero my @#$

April 2, 2008

When I think of a “feminist hero” the last person to come to mind is Heidi Montag from The Hills. Recently, The New York Times, called her a “feminist hero” for standing up to that creep Spencer. Honey, I would have sent that fool packin in the first season cause Nessa  (short for me, Vanessa) don’t roll like that! Ain’t nobody gone make me look like a foo!  You know who is a real feminist hero? My mother. This woman came to the United States at the young age of 16. Had my sister and me at a young age, fought for independence from my alcoholic father and finally divorced him. Worked two jobs to support my sister and I. Bought a house all by herself and now continues to work her rear off to help put me through college. TAKE THAT HEIDI MONTAG!!!!
